I analyze complex cases holistically, looking for answers and the most appropriate solutions — we rely on scientific knowledge, advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools, and integrate acupuncture + phytotherapy.

I approach each infertility case through the lense of Western and East Asian medicine — combining hormonal and functional diagnostics with Chinese Medicine assessment. All of this becomes an individual strategy , in which fertility acupuncture and phytotherapy are applied purposefully, not blindly, according to a standard protocol.

1. How is the Holístico method for infertility different from a regular acupuncture clinic?

A typical acupuncture clinic for fertility treatment usually works according to a standard protocol — basic acupuncture points and phytotherapeutic combinations for almost all patients with the same diagnosis (infertility), but not for individuality.

I do it differently. Before creating a "prescription" of acupuncture points or a combination of phytotherapy, I assess hormones, functional indicators, lifestyle and environmental factors — from a functional medicine perspective. Based on this information and using the knowledge of Chinese medicine, an individual plan for fertility acupuncture and/or phytotherapy is created.

In practice, this means that the plan takes into account all (internal and external) factors that are often overlooked in standard diagnostics, but are important for reproductive health — e.g. borderline hormonal fluctuations or male (partner) factor — and not just the symptom itself for which the patient is being referred.

2. Do I need to have blood tests done before the initial consultation?

If you have any hormonal or other tests (preferably not older than 6-12 months), take them with you — this will help us to get a more accurate picture. However, this is not necessary: during the initial consultation, I will assess your case thoroughly through the lense of Western and East Asian medicine and recommend what additional tests might need to be taken.

3. Can I get a Fertility Consultation online if I live outside of Vilnius or Lithuania?

Yes — I consult both in-clinic (Holístico, Naugarduko st. 8, Vilnius) and online, so your location does not prevent you from starting.

After the initial consultation, I will create a personalised action plan and provide written recommendations. You will be able to have acupuncture treatments for fertility performed by a specialist in your area of residence according to the prepared plan.

4. How long does it take to see changes?

It depends on what we are evaluating. Some changes — better sleep, a calmer nervous system, more energy — are noticeable after 2-4 acupuncture treatments . However, the reproductive system needs more time before the results begin to be reflected in hormone tests or a spermogram.

We know that the spermatogenesis cycle lasts about 74-90 days , and the egg maturation stage until ovulation lasts about 90 days , therefore, in order to achieve a noticeable change, I usually recommend planning acupuncture procedures or a course of phytotherapy for a period of at least 3 months (this is how long the complete cell maturation process takes), however, in more complex situations, a longer period may sometimes be required - from 6-12 months.
