​East Asian medicine has fundamentally changed my understanding of health. It teaches us to see a person as a whole system, in which the body, emotions, and environment interact. Western and Eastern medicine are not competing systems and do not need to be opposed. On the contrary, they can be combined and successfully complement each other. Modern diagnostics and scientific progress provide accuracy and objectivity, and can assess structures, while the East Asian medical model explains functional relationships, body processes and individual differences. Therefore, I see advanced medicine as a combination of different methods, where priority is given not to direction, but to individual human needs and the most suitable solution for them.
